ANGLO URDU GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL was established in the year 1937 to initiate the process of bringing education to the doorsteps of the common man. All most all had favored the idea. It was initiated by the concerned efforts of benefactors, benevolent leaders and eminent educationists such as late Haji Gulam Mohammed Azam a business man from Surat, Late Khan Abdul Kadir leading lawyer of Pune city of his times and late Khan Bahadur Hidayatatullah.
