On 9th Aug, 08 L.C.D Presentation of all subject was presented by the students and computer projects of each subject was displayed.

On 26th Aug, 08 inauguration of LCD Lab at the hands of President Mr. P.A. Inamdar and Std V students.

• On 28th Jan’08 Pune Zilla Parishad had organized a rally in order to celebrate 150 years of India’s First War of Independence. Around 100 students of Std VIII participated in the rally.

• The students of X, IX & VIII participated in an essay competition organized by the Association of English Teacher of Abeda Inamdar Senior College for Girls.
• Students of Std. VII from Anglo Urdu Girls High School participated in Inter school Maths competition held at Allana Pharmacy building organized by Maths Association of Azam Campus.
• A workshop was organized by Pune Zilla Hindu Teachers Association regarding the new syllabus of std. V & IX Mrs. Parveen Arab & Mrs. Rabiya Patel attended the workshop.
• In the month of Feb’08 Mrs. Zillehuma Bargir delivered a guest lecture at Dr. Zakir Hussain High School Kirkee. She gave exemplary guidance to S.S.C. students on Urdu, Geography & Economics. Approximately 200 students from Khadki, Bopadi and Yerwada attended this lecture.
• Ten days ‘Iqra Deeni Tarbiyati’ camp was organized br Haji Gulam Mohd Azam Edu Trust at Azam CAMPUS in April 2008. Nearly 800 students from STD VI to X attended this camp. Mrs. Zillehuma Bargir – Supervisor worked as a coordinator of Deeni Tarbiyati Camp.
• 1st October 2005 was celebrated as wild life week.
• The students of Anglo Urdu Girls High School participated in Science exhibition organized by Z.P. on 23rd & 24th December 2005.
• 16th September was celebrated as Ozone day. Charts were displayed in the premises to make the students aware of ozone layer & its effect on earth.
• Essay competition was organized by Pune Zilla Hindi Teachers Association. Students of Std. V to X participated in the competition.
• From 2nd June 2006 to 11th June 2006 “Teachers training programme” was organized by ‘Intel’ in the school computer labs. Various projects were made by the teachers which have been sent to Intel in the last month.
• Ex-Students Association:-
  On Sat 2nd Sept. 2006 Ex- Students Association was formed and inaugurated at the hands of Miss. Salima Khan- Ex. Dy. Director of Sports, Government of Maharashtra, was the Chief Guest. Mrs. Abeda Inamdar presided over the function and Mrs. Mumtaz Peerbhoy was the special invitee. Ex-Students attended the programme and registered their names in the Association.
• Adopted students:
  Besides teaching in the classroom the teachers devote extra time to the deserving students. Every year five students are adopted by the Incharge teachers. They maintain there academic record, visit their houses personally, provide them financial help extended by H.G.M.A.T. Trust.     
• On 10th Jan 2008 a one day National Seminar on ‘Importance of literacy in Urdu Literature’ was organized by Abeda Inamdar Senior College at Assembly Hall. The Seminar was sponsored by Pune University. Mrs. Hanifa Shaikh attended the seminar.
• All India Urdu Conference was organized by Iqbal Club, Solapur at Hutatma Smriti Mandir from 2nd Feb to 5th Feb, 2008. Mrs. Aziza M. Khan – Principal, Mrs. Zillehuma Bargir – Supervisor along with Mrs.Hanifa Shaikh – H.O.D.Urdu Dept, Miss Zohra Shaikh and Mrs. Shaheda E. Shaikh (Asstt Teachers) attended the conference.
• Hindi Seminar for Std Xth was organized by Pune Zilla Hinda Adhyapak Sabha at S.N.D.T Kanyashala. Mrs. Rabiya M. Patel and Mrs. Parveen Arab attended the workshop.
• Marathi Seminar Std Xth was organized at St. Andrews High School. . Mrs. Rabiya M. Patel and Mrs. Parveen Arab attended the workshop.

• M.C.E. Society, Azam Campus Pune had organized two days workshop for all the Urdu Medium School teachers at Unani Medical College. It was organized to guide teachers of std X in the field of Social Science. Mrs. Shaheda Danish & Mrs. Zillehuma Bargir guided secondary school teachers in the field of History Civics & Geography Economics.
• On Thursday 07/02/2008 Mrs.Shabana Jumman(Asstt Teacher) participated  in ,Art Exhibition,creation 2008,on Islamic Calligraphy and won 1st position.Venue; Poona college.
• United students Association Nagpur had organized Maharashtra Level ‘Essay Competition’ on the memorable occasion of ‘Youm-e-Talim’anniversary of Moulana Abul Kalam Azad. Seventy Students from our school participated in it. Miss Sabajahan Abdul Razzaque from IXA stood first in high school group.Mrs. Ayesha A. Shaikh guided & prepared Ms. Saba Razzaque for the Essay Competition.
• Science exhibition had been organized by Zilla Parishad on 26th & 27th Dec at Lonkar Vidyalaya Wadgaonshri. Two projects from our school were kept. From V to VII Water Purification and from VIII to X Pawan Chakki.
• 21st August 2006 to 26th August 2006: Pune Municipal Corporation had organized “Teachers training programme on behalf of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan at Taluka Level. This training was organized for the teachers teaching English to Std. VII. The training was given at Vidya Niketan No. 1 Shukurwar Peth Pune-2. Miss. Shaheda Danish attended the training as a resource person also Miss. Summaiya Khan & Miss. Gazala Shaikh also attended the training as a trainee.
• On 26/4/2006 A guest Lecture of Mrs. Dr. Naradikar was organized by Maths association of Azam Campus at Bhaskarachrya Prathistan Miss. Shaheen I. Shaikh, Mrs. Shabnam K. Khan & Miss Nafees S. 11th & 12th Nov 09
All India Conference was organized at New Delhi by “All India Urdu Educational Committee” Mrs. Nasim Gidrawala attended the same as delegate.

13th to 16th Nov 09
State level Soft Ball Competition was held at Aurangabad. 10 students of Anglo Urdu Girls’ High School along with two teachers Mrs. Afzala Khan & Mrs. Dilshad Shaikh participated in it.

14th Nov 09
A seminar was held at YMCA Quarter Gate for teachers. Mr. Mohan Nair Addressed the conference. The Chairman, YMCA Mr. Benny Boodle organized it. Chief guest Fr. Fonseca, Bishop of Pune. The topic for discussion was “Education in this time of Social Change”
Retired and Retiring Teachers were felicitated by the Pope with a bouquet and a momento. Mrs. Irfana A Shaikh (AUGHS) was felicitated as her retirement is in December 2009.
Mrs. Hanifa H Shaikh & Mrs. Zainab U Sayyed attended the function. The programme ended with a lunch at 1.30 p.m.

“Children’s Day” was celebrated in Anglo Urdu Girls High School, Sweets (Laddu) were distributed to all the students from Teaching & Non Teaching Staff members.

Abeda Inamdar Sr College had organized a Workshop “Udyojakta Aani Mahila Sablikaran” in co-ordination with the Adult, distant Education Dept. The workshop was meant for small scale Industries and Empowerment of women at Assembly Hall. The following teachers attended the programme.

14th – 19th January:
MSCIT II batch started from 10th Oct to Jan 2010 and Exams were held at “Atharva Computer Lab – 2” from 14th Jan to 19th Jan 2010 9 Teachers & 21 student s appeared for this exam. Passed – 22, Percentage – 73%

21st Jan 2010:
State Level “Painting Competition” was held on 14th Nov 09 at Mumbai. It was organized by the Ministry of Power Government of India. Ms. Tarkash Humera – V A of Anglo Urdu Girls’ High School participated in this competition she received certificate by post on 21st Jan 2010.

26th Jan 2010:
60th Republic Day celebration programme was organized at Police Ground, Shivaji Nagar by Zilla Parishad. Mr. Parab (Education Officer) was the Incharge of this programme. Among 35 Marathi Medium and English Medium Schools A.U.G.H.S participated in this programme and presented the dance show. Mrs. Najma Q Sayyed & Mrs. Afzala, Mrs. Sajeda Patel were the incharge of this show.

26th Jan 2010:
Art Exhibition was held on 26th Jan 2010 at Azam Campus. Paintings were displayed Mr. P.A.Inamdar and all committee members, Principals and Teachers visited and appreciated the work of students of Art Academy.

28th Jan to 29th Jan 2010:
Maths Academy Exhibition was organized by Maths Association on 28th & 29th Jan 2010 at Anglo Urdu Girls’ High School (Ground Floor). Five Institutes of Azam Campus have participated in the same.
Mrs. N.S.Shaikh, Mrs. R.A.Shaikh, Mrs. Farheen Shaikh & Mrs. Anjum Shaikh were the incharge from our school. Charts, Models, and Computer project were displayed by the teachers and students.

29th Jan 2010:

10th Feb 2010:
Haji Gulam Mohammed Azam Urdu Primary School organized the Scholarship Practice Exam for std VII on 27th Jan 2010. In this exam 33 students of Anglo Urdu Girls’ High School were appeared 32 students passed and one failed. Toppers

These students were awarded by a gift prize and Rs. 300/- cash prize from Mrs. Abeda Inamdar.

12th Feb 2010
Internal “Bait Baazi” competition was organized by Anjuman – Taraqqui Urdu Hind, Pune. at Assembly Hall on Friday 12.2.2010 between 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Over all eleven schools have participated in this competition. The competition was divided in three sections i.e. Quarter Final, Semi Final, and Final. Mrs. Z.A.Bargir and Ms. Sumaiya khan attended 42nd Kirloskar Foundation Clean and Beautiful School Contest and prize distribution function at Jangli Maharaj Road, Shivaji Nagar. Two students of our school also accompanied them. Time: 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Our school received Consolation Prize.

15th Feb 2010:
M.T.S. (Maharashtra Talent Search) and N.T.S (National Talent Search) exams training was organized by Nowroseji Wadia College at Azam Campus. This training was organized for science, maths and social science teachers. It was 2 days training i.e. on 15.2.10 and 16.2.10. The guest lectures were held at D.Ed College. 15th Feb 2010 to 25th Feb 2010:
Ms. Sumaiya Khan & Ms. Wajeda Khan attended the “Madarsa Teachers Training Workshop” conducted in association with British High Commission, New Delhi, for 10 days i.e. from 15th Feb 2010 to 25th Feb 2010 at D.Ed College L.C.D Room.
Different teaching methods of each subject were shown by PowerPoint presentation Ms. Sayyed Shabana gave the computer knowledge & Mrs. Shaheen Shaikh of B.Ed College taught different skills of English Language.

19th Feb 2010:
A grand Rally was organized by President Mr. P.A.Inamdar on the occasion of Shivaji Jayanti Students from all Institutions participated in this Rally which started from Azam Campus and disposed off at Lal Mahal.

25th Feb 2010:
Anglo Urdu Girls’ High School girls’ won the Hockey Match under 12 Winners were awarded by Hockey stick 1,000/- cash prize and team got trophy. Venue – Hockey Ground Pimpri. Organised by D.N.A
