• National Level Urdu Mela was organized at Beed in Feb 2008.15 girls and four teachers i.e Miss Waheda Sayyed (Librarian), Miss Sana Chand and Miss Anjum Shaikh (Asstt Teachers) from Anglo Urdu Girls’ High School attended this event.A cultural programme of 11/2 hours was prepared by the students.It included drama and tableau which were written by Mrs. Zillehuma Bargir- Supervisor.
• 13th State Level ‘Drama Competition’ was held at Mysore Association Mumbai. It was organized by Drama and Entertainment Academy.Anglo Urdu Girls’ High School bagged 2nd prize for “Hum Kahan Ja Rahen Hain”. This was an Inter School Competition in which various Urdu, English and Hindi medium schools participated. The competition was very difficult but our students showed their talent on the stage also.The school was awarded by “SHAFI INAMDAR TROPHY” from Idea Celluler. Best actress award was given to Shaikh Hafsa Naeem of Std VIIIA.Ms. Shaikh Sumaiya – V, Ms. Hurzuk Mariya – VIIIA and Ms. Rukhsar were awarded for best performance. The writer and director of this Drama was Mrs.Zillehuma Bargir(Supervisor).Miss Waheda Sayyed – Librarian, Ms. Sana Chand, Ms. Anjum Shaikh, Mrs. Afzala Khan (Asstt Teachers) also dedicated their services in preparing the girls.
• Mrs. Zainab U. Sayyed attended a seminar on EVS organized by Z.P. at Bharti Vidyapeth Environmental department. Certificate was given to Mrs. Zainab U. Sayyed and also a cash prize of Rs. 2500/- for school to spend this money for E.V.S.  Subject.
• Mrs. Zillehuma Bargir has been selected as Urdu expert panel member by the Maharashtra Government Bhasha Sanchlanalya in April 2006.
• Mrs. S. Danish guided X Std. students & also delivered lectures in History at Azam Campus, Assembly Hall, & at Dr. Zakir Hussain High School, Kirkee. She also guided the X Std. students in English at Dr. Zakir Hussain High School, Kirkee
• On 10th July 2006, the department of Science launched Science club. It was inaugurated by Dr. Alam. Incharge  teachers Mrs. Ayesha A. Shaikh & Mrs. Shahin I. Shaikh
• It is a matter of pride that 100 students of Anglo Urdu Girls High School appeared for state level colour contest organized by Akhil Bhartiya Nagrik Vikas Kendra Aurangabad. Out of 100 students Shaikh Farheen Rafique of Std. V C and Shaikh Amrin Ishaque of VIII C was awarded with “Kala Darpan Award”
• State level colouring contest was organized by Srushti Lalit Kala Academy, Jalna, Maharashtra. In this competition 25 entries were sent. Art teachers Mrs. Hanifa Shaikh & Mrs. Shabana Shaikh conducted this contest in V to VIII classes. Miss Bagwan Sana Khalil Ahmed of VIII B got the special prize.
• The First International Ghadeer Calligraphy Festival organized a Competition under the organization of culture & Islamic Guidance, Azebaijaan Fast, Tabriz-Iran on 12th Dec. 2006. Mrs. Hanifa Shaikh, Mrs. Zohrajabeen Shaikh & Mrs. Shabana Shaikh Ms. Shabana jumman participated in this competition & sent their Calligraphy Art Work by e-mail for this competition.
• On 15th Dec, 2007, Programme on Jashne-Ateque Ah. Ateeque.An Inter School Elocution Comp was organised by Bazm-e-Urdu.Topic;-Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Bagban Khansa Rafique(VIII B)Won 2nd prize .Teacher Incharge; Mrs. Minaz N. Tamboli.
• For the first time in the History of AUGHS. Students programme was relayed on T.V. This programme titled ‘JUBAN PE NO LAGAAM’ was relayed ON 31ST March 2008 on ETV Urdu. It included debates, elocution competitions and cultural programmes. The programme was hit, Mrs. Zillehuma A. Bargir was incharge of this event. The students performed excellently.Other Incharge Teachers was Mrs. Hanifa Shaikh, Ms. Zohra Shaikh, Mrs. Meenaz Tamboli, Mrs. Najma Shaikh, Mrs. Shabana Shaikh, Mrs. Shabana Jumman, Mrs. Farheen, Ms. Sana Chand, Ms. Salma Dhotekar.
• Out of 234 students of Std X Ms. Sayyed Saima Gous X-A stood 2nd and won Rs 301/-as prize. Incharge Teacher Mrs. Latifunnisa Shaikh and Ms. Attar Juveriya Imtiyaz X-D stood 3rd and won Rs 201/-as prize. Incharge teacher Mrs. Almas Shaikh.

State level drama competitation

A state level drama competitation was organized by Art Creative Theatre, Bhiwandi on 1st February 2009 at Meenatai Thalare Hall Bhiwand. 12 selected dramas were presented by various high schools all over Maharashtra.
In this competition Anglo Urdu Girls’ High School, Azam Campus Pune was invited to present their drama ‘IS AAG KO BUJHA DO’ which was based on terrorism and was directed by Mrs. Zillehyma Altaf Bargir (Supervisor Anglo Urdu Girls’ High School) won the third prize and was awarded the trophy and Rs. 1500/-

KIRLOSKAR FOUNDATION has organized ‘CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL SCHOOL CONTEST’ which is going on from last three years. Every year our school participated in this competition. In the year 2005 – 2006 our school had bagged consolation prize. But this year our school has brought laurels by winning by 2nd Prize in the competition at Pune District Level. Principal Mrs. S. I. Inamdar, Asst. H. M. Mrs. Latifa M. Shaikh, Supervisor Mrs. Z.A. Bargir, and Mrs. Ayesha A. Shaikh took extra efforts to gain this success. Mrs. Zillehma Bargir (Instructor AUGHS) was the supervision of the competition. Under her supervisor the following teachers were incharge for the competition.

Dated 9th February 2009 the Eco Folks and Maharashtra state pollution central board had organized Enviro Inter School Drama Competition which was held at Bharat Natya Mandir Sadashiv Peth Pune our school participated in the Hindi Drama “DHARTI KI PUKAR” (on pollution) and brought laural. We won 1st prize cash Rs. 5000/- and for best writer Mrs. Dilshad A.Shaikh received cash Rs. 700/- students Ms. Sayyed Rumana from IX A who the Best Actress Award. She received a trophy and a certificate. Besides 10 students from VII & IX also participated in the Drama. (Organized by Star Maza T.V. Channel).
